Kasaragod, Sept. 25 -- The Kerala Government on Friday suffered yet another setback in the Periya double murder case, after the Supreme Court refused to stay an order of the Division Bench of the High Court here, which had ordered a CBI probe on August 25.

The government had moved the apex court, appealing against an order of the High Court, allowing a CBI probe in the case.

Earlier, the Division Bench of the High Court had dismissed the plea by the state government against the order of a single bench, directing a CBI probe into the murder case.
