Nashik, Dec. 17 -- The District and Sessions Court yesterday upheld the two-year imprisonment sentence imposed on State Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Adv. Manikrao Kokate by a Nashik junior court in February for forged documents and fraud. This had increased Minister Kokate's problems.

His ministerial post was also in danger. After this, Anjali Dighole-Rathod, daughter of former minister late Tukaram Dighole, had filed an application in the Nashik court on Wednesday regarding the arrest of Minister Kokate.
