Shimla, Aug. 4 -- A server snag today at India Post, Shimla, left hundreds of customers in distress, as the snag disrupted speed post and Registered services.
According to an official of General Post Office Shimla, they could not entertain the customers and asked them to opt for ordinary posts.
It is worthwhile to mention that due to the heavy rainfall, power, telecommunication and road services in the state are crippled.
Speed post tickets are generated online requiring access to the servers.
A customer, Abhilasha Thakur told UNI, "I had to opt for courier service as India Post office was not providing the speed and registered post services."
