Rio De Janeiro, April 3 -- Leonardo Sequeira scored twice as Argentina's Huracan secured a 2-1 away win over Brazilian side Corinthians in their Copa Sudamericana group stage opener.
The visitor took the lead on Wednesday when Sequeira latched onto Leonardo Gil's set piece with a header into the bottom-left corner.
Midfielder Raniele put the host on level terms by nodding home following Andre Carrillo's corner. Sequeira restored Huracan's advantage with a low left-footed shot that left goalkeeper Matheus Donelli with no chance.
Corinthians controlled 71 percent of possession and completed more than twice as many passes as the Buenos Aires outfit but lacked incisiveness in the final third.
