Etawah (UP), March 21 -- A 75-year-old man was beaten to death by his son, who later surrendered before the police, in the Chaubiya area of Etawah district here in Uttar Pradesh, a senior police officer said here on Friday.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sanjay Kumar said that Taaran Singh, a resident of Rampura Moonj village, had taken a loan of Rs 1.5 lakh from the bank for his treatment. "The deceased's nephew Rakesh informed the police that Taaran was constantly asking his son Manoj to repay the bank loan but he did not listen to his father," he said.
