Thrissur, Aug. 5 -- A Sensor Manufacturing Common Facility Centre will be established in Kerala through a partnership between the Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET) and Keltron, under the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
The proposed centre will be set up on Keltron-owned land in Mulankunnathukavu, Thrissur, Kerala Industries Minister P. Rajeeve said.
The decision was made following a meeting between Minister P. Rajeeve and S. Krishnan, Secretary, Union Ministry of Electronics and IT. The land, which is currently under liquidation, will be reclaimed and repurposed for the project, subject to approval from the High Court.
