Mumbai, May 5 -- The BSE Sensex continued to rise on Monday too, advancing 329 pts at 80,831.18 in opening trade as buying was seen across the board amid positive global cues.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose 73 pts at 24,419.50 pts.
The BSE Sensex registered an intraday high at 80,919.82 and an intraday low at 80,657.71, respectively.
The Nifty registered days high at 24,460.75 and low at 24,400.65 pts.
The Mid cap moved up 0.70 pc while Small cap fell by 0.46 pc.
In 30 scrips, 23 advanced while 7 declined.
The gainers were Adani Ports by 3.35 pc to Rs 1309.50, Eternal by 2.28 pc to Rs 239.60, Bajaj Finance by 2.20 pc to Rs 2000 and Asian paints by 1.87 pc to Rs 2454.60.
