Investor sentiment remained cautious amid escalating geopolitical tensions following U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, traders added.
National Stock Exchange (NSE) too declined by 140.50 points to settle at 24,971.90
The Sensex opened lower at 81,704.07 against its previous close of 82,408.17. Sensex
registered intra-day low of 81,476.76 and high of 82, 169.67 respectively.
The Nifty registered days high at 25,057.00 and low at 24,824.85 pts
