Mumbai, June 4 -- Snapping the three-day losing streak, BSE Sensex on Wednesday rose by 260.74 pts to settle at 80,998.25 on positive cues from global peers.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) advanced by 34.10 pts to 24,716.60.

BSE Sensex today opened in green at 81,214.42 up by 44.30 pts. Sensex recorded the day high of 81087.29 and low of 80705.18

The NSE registered a day's high at 24,644.25 and a day's low at 24,550.45 pts.

In sectoral indices, except realty and banks which were down by 0,77 pc and 0.03 pc respectively, all other Indices ended the session on a positive note with telecommunication being the top sectoral gainer -- up by1.35 pc followed by utilities, tech, energy, commodities, industrial and healthcare.
