Mumbai, June 20 -- The BSE Sensex on Friday rose by 237.15 points to 81,599.02 in early trade as buying was seen in telecom, healthcare, banking, realty, teck and commodities stock , despite persistent global investor concerns over escalating tensions between Israel and Iran.
The Nifty too advanced by 69.15 pts to 24,862,40.
Sensex registered an intraday high and a low at 81,631.64 and 81,323.20 respectively.
The Nifty registered day's high at 24,869.85 and a low at 24,783.65 pts.
Midcap advanced by 141.87 points and small cap rose by 210.23 pts.
