Mumbai, Feb. 2 -- The BSE Sensex on Friday zoomed 764.91 pts at 72,410.21 on positive global cues.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose 242.70 pts at 21,940.15.
The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 72,543.29 and 71,977.56 pts respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra days high and low at 21,963.45 and 21,812 pts respectively.
The Mid Cap rose 0.92 pc and Small Cap by 1.12 pc.
In 30 scrips, 28 advanced, 1 declined while one remained unchanged.
The gainers were Powergrid by 2.60 pc to Rs 272.70, Reliance Industries by 2.20 pc to Rs 2915.55, Tech Mahindra by 1.87 pc to Rs 1336.50, ICICI Bank by 1.85 pc to Rs 1044.55 and NTPC by 1.74 pc to Rs 327.35.
