Mumbai, March 11 -- The BSE Sensex on Tuesday lost further by 206 pts at 73,908 in the opening session as selling was seen across the board amid weak global cues.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) eased 44.55 pts at 22,415.75.

With yesterday's loss of over 200 pts, today it slipped further by 206 pts at 73,908, as the Sensex registered intra-day highs at 73,919.65 and 73,663.60 pts, respectively.

The Nifty registered days high and low at 22,421.90 and 22,314.70 pts, respectively.

The mid cap declined by 0.24 pc and small cap by 1.26 pc.

In 30 scrips, 10 advanced while 20 declined.

The losers were IndusInd Bank by 20 pc to Rs 720.50, Zomato by 3.41 pc to Rs 204, Infosys by 3.02 pc to Rs 1651.25, and M & M by 2.03 pc to Rs 2646.85.
