Mumbai, Sept. 29 -- Snapping a gaining streak of last two sessions, the BSE Sensex on Tuesday declined by 8.41 pts at 37,973.22 as selling was seen in Telecom, Realty, Bankex and FMCG stocks.
The nifty of national stock exchange too eased by 5.15 pts at 11,222.40.
Rallied by 1427 pts in couple of sessions, the day opened on a strong note at 38,176.86, rising by 195 pts. It advanced by 254 pts to 38,235.94, days high. Later, it nosedived 150 pts to 37,831.35, days low before closing at 37,973.22, easing by 8 pts from its last close.
The sensex registered days high and low at 38,235.94 and 37,831.36 pts respectively.
The Nifty recorded days high and low at 11,305.40 and 11,181 pts respectively.
