Mumbai, March 19 -- Extending the winning streak for the seventh day on Tuesday the BSE Sensex rallied by 268.40 points to 38,363.47, six-month-high amid support from index pivotals, Reliance
Industries, ITC and Infosys amid positive global cues.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too gained by 70.20 points at 11,532.40.
The day opened on a strong note at 38,218.59, up by 123 pts.
During the day it surged by 301 points to 38,396.06 days high before closing at 38,363.47, up by 268.40 points from its last close.
The sectoral indices like Materilas, Energy, Telecom, Utilities and Power kept the rally intact for the seventh day today. In scrips ITC, NTPC, HCL Tech., Reliance Industries and Bharti Industrials
shot up during the day....
