Mumbai, Dec. 6 -- The BSE Sensex dropped 380.08 points at 62,454.52 as selling was seen across the board.
The Nifty dropped 86.60 points at 18,614.45.
The Sensex registered intra day high and low at 62,599.41 and 62,390.07 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 18,637.80and 18,577.90 points respectively.
The Mid Cap declined by 0.18 per cent while Small Cap rose by 0.04 per cent.
In 30 scrips 7 advanced while 23 declined.
The losers were HCL Technology by 2.01 per cent to Rs 1108.40, Infosys by 1.40 per cent to Rs 1617.50, Tata Steel by 1.30 per cent to Rs 114.30, Tech Mahindra by 1.29 per cent to Rs 1085.55 and TCS by 1.08 per cent to Rs 3388.
