Mumbai, June 13 -- The BSE Sensex on Friday crashed by 895.43 points to 80,796.55 in early trade, as Israel's military strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities sent shockwaves through global markets, triggering a risk-off mood across asset classes and amplifying domestic concerns following the fatal crash of an Air India Dreamliner.

The Nifty slumped by 272.15 pts at 24,616.05.

Sensex registered intraday high and low at 80,758.08 and 80,354.59 respectively.

The Nifty registered days high at 24,622.15 and low at 24,477.00 pts.

Midcap fell by 620.52 points and small cap by 882.64 points.
