Lucknow, Sept. 5 -- A shocking case of an attempted match-fixing has come to light during the ongoing UP Premier T20 Cricket League at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Arjun Chauhan, the manager of the Kashi Rudras team, has alleged that a man approached him with a proposal to fix matches for a hefty sum of Rs 1 crore.
Based on the manager's complaint, Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) officer Hardayal Singh Champawat, currently posted in Lucknow, has filed an FIR at Sushant Golf City police station against an Instagram user with the handle vipss_nakrani.
