Dehradun, May 11 -- Senior Uttarakhand officials reviewed the various arrangements in place at the State Emergency Operations Centre (SEOC) here and issued directions for smooth operations, an official said on Sunday.
Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Home Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, and Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar inspected the facilities on Saturday night at the SEOC, which is part of the Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority (USDMA).
During their visit, they reviewed the various arrangements in place at the control room and issued necessary directions.
The Chief Secretary emphasised the crucial role of the SEOC in coordinating relief and rescue efforts during disasters and ensuring timely exchange of information.
