Hyderabad, May 25 -- Senior journalist MD Muneer passed away at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
He was 65. He is survived by his wife and two children. His funeral will be held at his native village, Mandamarri, in Mancherial district on Sunday evening, sources said.
Muneer had been unwell for some time and was undergoing treatment at Omega Hospital in Gachibowli. His condition worsened, and he passed away shortly after midnight on Saturday.
Before entering journalism, Muneer worked with Singareni Collieries and later took voluntary retirement (VRS).
