Bhubaneswar, March 9 -- Senior journalist Ashutosh Mishra passed away on Sunday night following a massive cardiac arrest.

He was 67.

Mishra had a long and distinguished career in journalism. During his professional journey, he worked with prominent newspapers such as The Times of India, The Pioneer, and The Telegraph.

After his retirement, he continued to remain active in the field as a freelance journalist, contributing to several daily newspapers, weekly publications, and online news portals.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep grief over Mishra's demise.
