Kannur, Dec. 19 -- Former KPCC president and Kannur MP, K Sudhakaran has announced that senior Congress woman leader, Adv P Indira (56) will assume office as the sixth Mayor of Kannur Corporation.
Addressing a press conference at DCC office here today, Sudhakaran said the name of Adv. P Indira, present Deputy Mayor, was unanimously elected as the Mayor in the Congress core committee meeting convened by DCC president Martin George, on Thursday.
