Dubai, Dec. 13 -- Sethmika Seneviratne's incisive five-wicket spell laid the platform before Sri Lanka Under-19 completed a polished chase, overpowering Nepal Under-19 by eight wickets in the fourth Group B match of the ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2025 at The Sevens Stadium here on Saturday.
Seneviratne triggered Nepal's collapse with strikes spread across the innings. After removing opener Sahil Patel (12), he bowled Vansh Chhetri for a duck and dismissed Dilsad Ali to leave Nepal reeling. His most telling impact came at the end, when he returned to snare the last two wickets in quick succession - Bipin Sharma (1) caught at 28.1 overs and Dayanand Mandal (0) bowled at 28.5 - to finish with figures of 5 for 25 and dismiss Nepal for 82.
