Mumbai, Oct. 9 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sushma Andhare has demanded the resignation of Minister of State for Home Affairs Yogesh Kadam, accusing him of misusing his authority by granting a gun licence to a criminal despite an adverse police report.
According to reports, Sachin Ghaywal, brother of a wanted gangster Nilesh Ghaywal, who fled abroad using a fake passport despite cases registered against him under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), was issued a firearm licence on Kadam's recommendation, even though the police had opposed it.
