Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, April 18 -- Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) Shiv Sena on Friday launched a month-long agitation on shortage of water supply to the city at the city entrance.

Prominent UBT leaders, including Opposition leader Ambhadas Danve, former MP Chandrakant Khaire, Balasaheb Thorat, Traymbak Tupe and Santosh Jejurkar led the agitation in which hundreds of party activists and office bearers participated.

UBT leader and opposition leader of state assembly council Ambadas Danve led the agitation at Mukundwadi Chowk on Jalna road.

Danve told media that, when 140 MLD water was available to the city daily, it should have been provided for at least 4 days.
