Mumbai, Sept. 9 -- Dhananjay Borde, the Shiv Sena (UBT) Kalyan president, today moved an anticipatory bail application before a sessions court in a case related to the alleged abetment of an advocate's suicide.
The prosecution, along with the victim's husband, strongly opposed the plea. Borde, along with four others, has been booked in the case but has denied all charges, his lawyer said.
Borde and four co-accused were booked by police after advocate Sarita Khanchandani allegedly jumped to her death from the seventh floor of a building in Ulhasnagar on August 28.
