Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 20 -- A one-day seminar on preventing human trafficking and strengthening coordinated counter-measures will be held at the Police Training College here today.
The Kerala Police and the Association for Voluntary Action (AVA), also known as Bachpan Bachao Andolan, jointly organise the programme.
Kerala State Police Chief Ravada A. Chandrasekhar will inaugurate the seminar at 10 a.m. ADGP S. Sreejith will deliver the keynote address.
From 11 a.m. onwards, the discussions will focus on raising public awareness to prevent human trafficking and help people avoid related traps.
