Guwahati, Sept. 17 -- As the CM Vigilance Cell in Assam continued search and raid of accounts and lockers of arrested Assam Civil Service (ACS) officer Nupur Borah, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today warned the corrupt officials of the same fate.
Talking to newsmen on the sidelines of a public rally on Wednesday, Sarma said that similar fate awaits other corrupt officials.
The Chief Minister urged the officers to do their duty honestly without taking bribes from the people.
He said that the recovery from the Nupur Borah is the highest such recoveries in terms of its value ever recovered by the CM Vigilance Cell in Assam .
