Hyderabad, Feb. 1 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj, Women and Child Welfare Minister Dr. Danasari Anasuya Seethakka has strongly criticized the Union Budget 2025, alleging that the Central Government has treated Telangana unfairly.

In a statement issued on Saturday, she accused the Center of displaying bias against the state by neglecting its financial and developmental needs.

Seethakka expressed anger that while the Central Government allocated funds to Andhra Pradesh under the State Reorganization Act, it completely ignored Telangana.

She pointed out that the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's 62-page Budget document and 77-minute speech did not even mention Telangana, highlighting the BJP-led government's discriminatory approach. ...
