Hyderabad, Sept. 19 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj, Rural Development and Women and Child Welfare Minister Dr Danasari Anasuya Seethakka on Friday evening inaugurated the Saras Mela at the Indira Mahila Shakti Bazaar in Hitech City, declaring that women's economic empowerment is key to eradicating poverty.
After visiting the stalls set up by women's self-help groups, Seethakka interacted with the participants and purchased their products. She thanked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for allocating prime space in Hitech City to showcase rural women's handicrafts and products.
