Jammu, June 3 -- A tight security blanket has been put in place in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly all along the vital installation of the railways ahead of the inauguration of much awaited Katra-Srinagar rail link by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 6.
The rail link, which was to be inaugurated on April 19 earlier by PM Modi, was postponed due to bad weather.
Union Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Dr Jitendra Singh posted on X, "History in the making. Just 3 days to go! The mighty #ChenabBridge, the world's highest railway bridge, stands tall in #JammuandKashmir."
