Chandigarh, Nov. 11 -- Security arrangements for Bageshwar Dham head Dhirendra Krishna Shastri's 'Sanatan Ekta Padyatra' in Haryana have been strengthened a day after the Red Fort blast in Delhi.
Authorities have deployed five companies of security personnel, up from three earlier, to ensure the safety of the religious leader and his followers.
The padyatra entered its fourth day on Monday, crossing from Faridabad into Palwal district. The procession covered around 15 km before halting at the local Senior Secondary School, where participants spent the night.
On Tuesday morning, the march resumed from the same location, with Shastri surrounded by a tight police cordon.
