Thiruvananthapuram, Nov. 11 -- Kerala has stepped up security statewide in the aftermath of a high-intensity explosion reported in Delhi today evening.

State Police Chief Revada Chandrashekhar today instructed all police units to enhance vigil and adopt heightened security measures across the state.

Security checks will be intensified at crowded and vulnerable locations such as railway stations, bus stations and major places of worship. Police personnel have been directed to strengthen patrolling, surveillance and inspection of public spaces.
