Bengaluru, May 8 -- Amid the ongoing Operation Sindoor, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday said that elaborate security arrangements have been made across the state, particularly around dams, and confirmed that deportation proceedings against Pakistani nationals are underway, with most already repatriated and a few cases currently pending before the courts.

Addressing reporters in Mandya, the Chief Minister said, "We have heightened security around key infrastructure, including dams, and are taking all precautionary measures. The Centre has issued directions for civil defence mock drills, which are being conducted accordingly."
