Mumbai, Jan. 5 -- A major security alert was triggered at the Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital at Parel here on Monday morning after the administration received a bomb threat via email. The threat led to immediate deployment of police and bomb disposal squads to the premises.
According to police sources, upon receiving the threatening email, a thorough search operation was launched across the hospital complex. As of the latest reports, a meticulous check of various sections of the hospital was still ongoing but no explosive or suspicious object had been found.
