Imphal, July 3 -- The Manipur government has decided to take up fresh security measures following repeated attacks on farmers and forcible seizure of grains by suspected Kuki militants.
The state police today said in a statement that in response to heightened concerns over security during the ongoing farming season, the authorities have significantly stepped up safety measures across the state to ensure protection of farmers and prevent untoward incidents.
