Imphal, Jan. 11 -- Manipur Police and Security forces continued intensified operations across Manipur, leading to the recovery of arms and ammunition and the arrest of several militants in separate incidents on Saturday.
During long-range patrolling, security forces recovered an unidentified metal object suspected to be a locally made weapon from the Monghlam area under Thoubal Dam Police Station in Imphal East district.
In another operation, a Single Barrel Rifle was recovered from the general area of Siden and Changpikot villages under Churachandpur Police Station in Churachandpur district.
A major recovery was made from the general area of Awlmun village under Kangchup Police Station in Kangpokpi district.
