Imphal, Dec. 14 -- Manipur Police and security forces conducted a series of coordinated operations across Imphal East, Imphal West, Bishnupur and Kakching districts on Saturday, resulting in multiple arrests linked to drug trafficking and extortion, along with the recovery of narcotics, arms and ammunition.
In one operation, Manipur Police arrested a drug dealer from Porompat Pangal Leirak under Porompat Police Station in Imphal East district. A search led to the seizure of seven soap cases of Heroin No. 4 from his possession.
