Imphal, July 7 -- In a series of coordinated operations, security forces and Manipur Police apprehended several insurgent cadres and recovered arms and ammunition, highlighting ongoing efforts to curb militant activities in the region yesterday.
Manipur Police official today said Manipur Police arrested three active cadres of the proscribed outfit PREPAK from Keirao Khunou under Irilbung Police Station, Imphal East district.
One of the arrested individuals is a 28-year-old resident of Imphal West district. The remaining two are juveniles and are being dealt with under the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act.
