Raipur, Sept. 23 -- The security forces in southern Chhattisgarh gunned down two senior CPI (Maoist) central committee leaders during an alleged encounter in the Abujhmad forests of Narayanpur district.
The slain commanders, Raju Dada (Katta Ramchandra Reddy) and Kosa Dada (Kadari Satyanarayana Reddy), were among the most wanted insurgents in the region, each carrying a bounty of Rs 40 lakh announced by the Chhattisgarh government.
Arms and ammunition recovered from the site included an AK-47 rifle, an INSAS rifle, a BGL launcher, a large cache of explosives and Maoist literature.
