Srinagar, Sept. 18 -- Security forces on Saturday conducted searches of vehicles, particularly two wheelers, in Srinagar, where Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir range K Vijay Kumar had recently said that three militants and 15 Over Ground Workers (OGWs) were active. Security forces had established nakas at different areas, particularly on main roads, to keep a strict vigil on vehicles and pedestrian. Vehicles, particularly motorcyclists and scooterists, were being stopped by security forces near Palladium chowk in historic Lal Chowk area.
