Srinagar, March 14 -- Security forces deployed in Kashmir celebrated Holi, the festival of colors, with great enthusiasm and joy on Friday.
Border Security Force (BSF) personnel marked the occasion in the forward areas on the snow-covered Line of Control (LoC), embracing the festive spirit despite harsh weather conditions.
The border guards extended their greetings to the people by inscribing 'Happy Holi' in vibrant colours on the snow, symbolizing unity and celebration.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel celebrated the Holi festival at Ashajipora camp in south Kashmir's Anantnag district with great enthusiasm.
The troops hugged each other, danced in joy and sprinkle colours on each other amid inclement weather.
