Imphal, Aug. 25 -- In a series of coordinated operations across Manipur, security forces and state police have made significant arrests and seizures, in an effort to curb illegal activities and insurgency-related threats in the region.
In Bishnupur district, security forces arrested two individuals from Phougakchao Ikhai Bazar, under the jurisdiction of Phougakchao Ikhai Police Station. The arrested individuals have been identified as Md. Aziz Khan and Md. Suraj Khan, aged 2l, both residents of Kwakta Ward No. 5. During the operation, authorities seized 30 bags of betel nuts weighing a total of 1,327.2 kilograms, along with a Tata Yodha four-wheeler used in transporting the goods.
