Imphal, Aug. 27 -- In a series of coordinated operations across Manipur, security forces have apprehended a drug peddler, arrested vehicle lifters and recovered arms and ammunition in separate incidents.
In Churachandpur district, security forces yesterday,arrested Manneihoi Baite from her residence at S. Munnuam under Churachandpur Police Station. From her possession, 1,200 WY tablets worth around Rs. 10 lakh were seized.
Officials said the arrest is part of the ongoing drive to curb drug trafficking in the state.
