Chandigarh, Dec. 18 -- Haryana's Financial Commissioner for Revenue and Disaster Management, Dr Sumita Misra, has said that nearly 50,000 property registrations have been successfully completed through the state's paperless registration system, marking a watershed moment in the transformation of six-decade-old revenue practices.

During a surprise inspection of the Panchkula Tehsil office on Wednesday, Dr Misra disclosed that security-embedded paper would soon be introduced for property registration to further strengthen transparency and authenticity in land records.
