Jammu, Aug. 20 -- Security was beefed up at Jammu Tawi Railway Station after alert troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) caught a pigeon along the International Border in Ranbir Pura Sector here with a chit threatening an IED blast in the coming days.

The BSF troops, as per sources, on August 18 caught a pigeon with a chit tied to its claw carrying a message to blow up the Jammu Tawi Railway Station.

"The BSF troops noticed the pigeon flying close to a forward post along the border, and they caught him," sources said, adding that the chit carried messages in Urdu and English.

Sources added that the message in Urdu read - "Kashmir is ours, the time has come, it will come," while in English it read as, "JAMMU STATION IED BLAST THE END....
