Agartala, Jan. 3 -- Taking a cue from the incident of a security breach in the Parliament in the last session, Tripura police have taken elaborate security measures for the winter session of the state assembly to be held between January 5 and 11.

After several rounds of reviews, the assembly secretariat in a notification informed that no person or any vehicle, except man-driven rickshaws, will be allowed to enter the Assembly premises without a valid permit.

MLAs, media personnel, and staff of the assembly are required to show their identity cards or valid permits at the entry gate to the security guards on duty. They have been restricted from entering the assembly with co-passengers in their vehicle, except for the personal security guar...
