Ranchi, Nov. 11 -- A day after a car blast in Delhi, the Ranchi district administration has heightened security measures across the state capital.
Acting on the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rakesh Ranjan, police teams carried out an extensive late-night checking drive throughout the city to ensure public safety.
All police station in-charges and outpost officers were instructed to intensify patrolling and conduct surprise inspections at major intersections, crowded areas, and sensitive locations. During the drive, police personnel stopped and thoroughly checked both two-wheelers and four-wheelers, while also questioning individuals found engaging in suspicious activities.
