Shillong, Sept. 19 -- Various security agencies in the North Eastern States have resolved and agreed to join hands with the Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) to effectively combat wildlife crime in the region, an official said today. This decision was taken at an inter-agency coordination meeting of the central and states agencies organised by Eastern Regional Office of WCCB, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India in collaboration with the Wildlife Wing in the Forest and Environment Department, Government of Meghalaya.
