Bhubaneswar, Sept. 25 -- The second National Mediation Conference is set to be held in Bhubaneswar on September 27, aiming to deepen the discourse on mediation and empower both practitioners and citizens with the knowledge and skills necessary to realise its full potential.

Addressing a joint press briefing, Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan and Advocate General Pitambar Acharya stated that the two-day conference will focus on the effective implementation of the Mediation Act, 2023, passed by the parliament across the country.

They highlighted mediation as a key alternative dispute resolution mechanism that enables parties to resolve differences outside the traditional court system.
