Bengaluru, Sept. 20 -- The Second National Cultural Pythian Games 2025 is set to be held from November 7 to 9 at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium here, promising a unique celebration of arts, culture, traditional games, and sports.

Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has agreed in principle to inaugurate the Games.

A revival of a 2,600-year-old legacy, the Pythian Games trace their origins to ancient Greece, where they were celebrated alongside the Olympics as one of the four Pan-Hellenic festivals.

Unlike the Olympics, the Pythian Games focused on cultural expression, including music, dance, poetry, theatre, and artistic performances.
